LAGAN

This series, which spurred from the intangible idea of memories and how we remember them, consists of scanograms made from 35 mm negatives that were taken with disposable cameras. The grittiness of the disposable film and mundane imagery is intended to be reminiscent of the photographs that didn’t quite make the cut into the family photo album. The lines in the photographs splice the images into two different memories to imply that the memories we had forgotten tend to run together when we reconsider them.
